InspirED Rebrand

InspirED helps HSC students prepare for the biggest teams of their lives, through live workshops and online training modules. Run by ex teachers and examiners - they provide students with the confidence to succeed.

In their market they saw an opportunity to provide more for their customers, beyond workshop and live events. To remain ahead of the class they pushed for a more uniform visual brand and strategy. What they had were three separate brands with different styles, what they needed was one unified family.

HSC in the Holidays, as a business name and logo did not reflect the business it has become

HSC4Me — a program module — has to fit in under the new umbrella brand InspirED as a product. This wordmark had to fit in with the new logo design.

 

Rebrand Process

Working with Lyon Assembly, who provided the strategy and copy direction, I developed the new logo family. Part of the rebrand included a change in business name, from HSC in the Holidays to InspirED, along with it were three program modules. What was a delivered was a bold word mark which signalled growth and taking a step up, and a colour palette that signified trust and strength.

The process included creating moodboards, visual mockups and presentations of different wordmarks. Working with the client over three rounds we were able to push ahead with the final wordmark, program logos and colour palette.

Part of the presentation process was providing mockups for the client to see the logo in the wild.

I proposed a secondary symbol which could be used as a supporting visual anchor.

Guidelines

A brand guideline document was included as part of the final delivery, along with a series of marketing templates and examples. These included information flyers, pull up banners, keynote templates and website direction.
